Fashion Designer: Barbara King

Barbara's fashion intellect of a genius and eye for precision brings her designs to life like no other. With keen interpretation of storytelling is the direction in which this designer creates. Putting her stamp on the world of fashion as an international fashion designer. She has taken her passion by storm.

    She, like so many others, was raised by her paternal grandmother along with her four siblings. Her grandmother was a seamstress and her inspiration. By watching and learning the technicalities of sewing from her grandmother, she knew then designing and creating garments was her gift.

   

As a teen, Barbara started designing and creating garments. She wanted a different look than her peers, so she would design and make her own clothes and do intricate styles to her hair. Each design tells a story, so it's important for the photo shoot to be taken in many epic places. Fashion Shows are always included in her travels to let the world enjoy her beautiful array of designs. As an Entrepreneur, she created her brand Lanell Designs.

Barbara has traveled the world, and has been credited for numerous Fashion Shows. Her story and designs have been featured in many magazines and newspapers across the globe. One of her former collections 

"The Original Vandellas Collection" was endorsed by the Hall of Fame Motown R&B music icons  Annette Helton and Rosalind Holmes "The Original Vandellas"
